Seminar on Global Impact of Climate Change Held in Jaipur

On January 11, 2025, a special seminar on “The Global Impact of Climate Change” was organized at the Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Ajmeri Gate, Jaipur.

The event began with the lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana, followed by the welcome and felicitation of all guests. The discussion then focused on the urgent issue of climate change and possible solutions.

Key Speakers and Their Views:

Shri Tulsi Ram Regmi, Mayor of Purlibazar Municipality, Nepal, shared his views, stating that India and Nepal face almost identical environmental challenges. While governments are doing their part, it’s time for the general public to take collective responsibility to protect nature. He emphasized that efforts to save the planet must be collaborative and consistent.

Other speakers included international industrialist Burn Burl, ER Municipality’s Sandeep Bairal, and investors Dharmaraj Burl and Tulsi Ram Regmi. They spoke about the challenges brought by climate change, its effects on industry and daily life, and sustainable solutions.

Message from Chief Guest B.L. Soni (IPS, Retd.):

Former Director General of Police, Rajasthan, Mr. B.L. Soni stressed the importance of adopting sustainable practices to save the environment. He warned that we are on the brink of a climate crisis and that immediate action is needed. His message was clear — respect nature, plant trees, save water, avoid plastic, and live in harmony with the environment.
